Key dates
Frequently asked questions
Where do these exam dates come from?
Straight from each exam board's own published timetable — every timetable page links to its source document. Each one is marked final or provisional, exactly as the board labels it.
How do I make my own exam timetable?
Open the timetable for your exam board and qualification, then add the subjects you take. Choose your tier and any optional papers, and your personal timetable appears straight away — you can add it to your calendar, print it or share a link to it.
What time do exams start?
In the UK, exams are published to start at 9:00am (morning) or 1:30pm (afternoon). IB exams start at set local times for each exam zone — 9:00am and 1:00pm in the UK. Your school can start slightly earlier or later, so its own timetable has the exact time and your room.
What if my exams are with different exam boards?
Many students sit subjects with more than one board. Build a timetable on each board's page — the calendar files can all be added to the same calendar.
