Specification B (4MB1) is accelerated for advanced students (Higher only) with additional topics like matrices and set notation. For exam format, Linear (traditional) means both papers at the end with codes like 4MA1/1H; Modular (introduced recently) splits units across exam series with codes starting 4XMA.
